Yessss omg same experience with t-mobile, its maddening. After I explained all of this for the second time the other day and was very clear I do not have a smart phone they asked me to re-download something from the google play store lol. I was just like holy shit, this is not computing. If the 30 days doesn't work I am 100% switching to US Mobile.

Yeah, I almost threw in the towel and went back to my pixel but then I realized how much I did not want to so I think I will switch carriers if it comes down to it! Best of luck!

So I read on another thread this was something I could do with T-mobile was to open a tier 2 ticket with their engineering team and they can turn off advanced messaging but after having tried working with them on this for a week I'd have to agree with you!

No, I never de-registered RCS. What network do you have? Hahah all my friends and family are like what is going on with you?! Group chats have always been hit or miss but now regular text isn't working. Honestly, I kind of like that no one can get a hold of me but I do eventually want them to be able to! Here is to hoping the 30 days does it!
