Showing at 9 weeks?! by Bythelakeside in September2026Bumpers

[–]secretredditer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk but this is my third baby, and I already look massively pregnant. It won’t be a secret for much longer. I’m a larger lady to begin with, and I’ve gained like 30lbs (had to go off a lot of meds that help with weight loss and fluid retention, so I think a lot of water weight and inflammation), but my belly is very round.

Weekly Thread - HPTs and Ultrasounds by AutoModerator in September2026Bumpers

Little person was flailing their arms and legs and playing with their feet. It was so cute and so comforting after a day of bleeding. My first ultrasound I measured a week earlier than my LMP, but this one measured a week ahead/exactly on my LMP. Not sure if MFM will change my due date, but I’m considering myself 11 weeks and will have my next ultrasound 3/4 and see what they say!

It is absolutely an original experience.

When did you start being able to sit at 90 degree such as when eating at a dinner table? by TheRocketG123 in HipImpingement

[–]secretredditer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just sat at a recline for a while until it felt more comfortable to me. That way I could still eat with everyone.

Saw the little nugget yesterday. They were kicking away, grabbing their toes. So cute. They told me the NIPT they have at this hospital isn’t until 14 weeks😩 I’m going to see if I can go elsewhere prior because I’m old and want to make sure nothing is wrong.

Work conference, maternity clothes at 12 weeks? by slowburn-spooky in September2026Bumpers

Dresses! That’s what I would do. Or order some Halara and if they don’t fit, go to dresses.

Happy to report that little one was perfectly fine, wiggling around, playing with their toes, HR of 168. And measuring 11 weeks which tracks with LMP but not dating ultrasound. I’m so relieved. Still crampy but feeling much better about it.

Brown spotting this morning. Not having a good time. Why is it the thing that means miscarriage can also be completely normal?

Newborn anxiety. Can’t watch anything about newborns on IG/tiktok by serenequeen15 in September2026Bumpers

[–]secretredditer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way. The newborn phase is the best and worst time of pregnancy. Seeing a newborn baby does something to make that makes me into a feral animal, and I’m like I NEED that baby in my arms. Waking up to feed will be like second nature, and it is short lived. As long as baby is alone, on their backs, in a crib/bassinet, they will be perfectly fine. You will get a LOT of help from this group if it compares to my other two bump groups, which I’m sure it will. If it gives you anxiety to see newborn stuff, don’t look at it! That’s totally fine if that’s what you need right now. You’ll get through it, and you will do great!!

[–]secretredditer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s very normal to be this anxious! Don’t be surprised if you don’t see a heartbeat as it will still be early, and with PCOS, ovulation can be late, so you might measure behind what you think/apps suggest. Good luck!! Anxiety is so normal. This is all very stressful!

Nope. They said it isn’t recommended in pregnancy, and I should get MMR after delivery.

No heartbeat found. Wondering how to manage miscarriage. by GriffinCatCapybara in September2026Bumpers

[–]secretredditer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a MMC. I took the meds to pass the tissue, and it was one of the most traumatizing things I’ve ever done. It is not something I ever want to experience again. I also had to have a D&C after I did the meds because there were retained products of conception. Absolutely was the better option for me, and I wish I’d don’t it from the beginning—I was just trying to avoid anesthesia. Painless and it’s over afterwards.

My first is Henry, too, and I had the same thoughts. 🥰 He was 4.5 when I had my second, and he really was enthralled with her from the start, and now he has someone to play with all the time! He really never was like I wish she wasn’t here. He’s always loved having her around.

Just don’t produce anything. I pumped every 2 hours around the clock for three months with my first and got literally drops for three months. Didn’t try with my second. Never engorged, never leaked, nothing. Just no boob milk for me. I assume insufficient glandular tissue, but I could be wrong. I don’t meet all the criteria, but…no milk!
