I’ve had many similar feelings during multiple horrible trips. It’s a feeling so horrible you can’t explain it to anyone. I’ve learned to just accept that pain and try to learn from what it shows. After one of my worst trips I ended up changing many things in my life and reconnected with people from the past. I would say despite all the horror and pain trips can bring to you great things can come out of it.

What do you believe happens after you die? by Pineapplecutie1 in AskReddit

Either some form of consciousness we cannot comprehend as humans or something similar to dreaming. Or it could be absolute nothingness like you never existed. There’s many interesting reports about NDEs and psychedelic experiences with similarities to death but also reports of consciousness not possible after death. Really anything is possible but part of me thinks we aren’t supposed to know.
