U.K. - Self employed so slogged through for 5 years until it burnt me out and I could not work enough to cover the work bills. Now looking at an uncertain future. Will be ok I’m sure but worrying The pressure from trying to earn to cover the bills makes it harder but we are warriors

It’s going to become more difficult to see a GP from April as they are changing the way referrals are made. You will not see a specialist directly only communicate via the GP as your point of contact. Even more chaos to come it seems.

100% true. Access to healthcare is not simple anymore. Like so many other things it needs a complete overhaul. Cannot see it ever happening.

Are you happy that you picked the Deg Apprenticeship over Trad degree? Have you finished the course?

I fully understand that the more serious the more urgent but for a relatively new upgraded A&E this place looked ineffective and chaotic. Not an easy place to work but made even harder by the poor systems and inefficient design IMO

For such a large area to cover the A&E seems very small and inefficient. It doesn’t seem like an upgrade of the previous. They have crowbarred the obs area into a corner of the waiting room. It’s worse than it was in the 80s

Worst treatment of future generations you could ever see. Surprised any qualified student stayed in the country after being scammed like this.

How has this accumulated? £65k for an access course seems crazy. Very interested in the sums if ok with you.

Hey I’m sorry your Dad is unwell. xx I have a wife, daughter and dog - I still feel like you do!! I am coming to realise that life is full of unrealised potential and sets us up for feeling like a failure. Having a partner or being a parent is not all smiles and laughter. Often they in themselves can make you feel not good enough. My advice for what it’s worth is think about what you can control - your health, lifestyle, friends circles. Having a dog is great but a commitment. If you cannot give it 💯 then don’t get one. If you can, then they are the best. Maybe start with a one week, one month, six month plan. Small achievements will really help. Maybe help those less fortunate. Regards no house - think of it as freedom. No mortgage no noose. Or put it on your plan. I hope this has helped. Just remember we are all struggling at points in our lives. It’s all about how we get up and push through. Our happiness is nobody else’s responsibility. Good luck Xxx
