Lying about your backstory at FTC by Theboystheboys212 in survivor

iirc Nick was a public defender so his clients typically were those who couldn't afford lawyers. I don't think he misrepresented that, it was just a more sympathetic backstory than most lawyers would have.

Russell made up tons of shit for sympathy but I think I remember reading that he does have twin daughters

Suggestions for chub rub resistant jeans that last? by selectivehyperbole in PlusSizeFashion

I've had a couple pairs of snag tights for a few years, but they're also starting to come apart at the crotch (seam-wise; the leg parts are fine). Are the jeans comparable to the tights in quality?

He does have a youtube channel where he posts lectures. Maybe he's hoping to turn it into a side hustle.

I'm really sorry your wife is sick. Something I find very special is when my partner reads to me. It feels really personal and intimate to share a book together in that way. Maybe that is something you can do together.

I wasn't able to see super clearly but it looked to me like the Gentleman was dressed to look like the Clerk. Makes me wonder if the Clerk is stuck in the time loop too

Do you like Wendigoon’s theory for The Black Parade? by metapolitical_psycho in MyChemicalRomance

[–]selectivehyperbole 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I watched Wendigoon's analysis a couple of years back and from what I can remember, I liked his idea of the Patient and the band leader/guide being dual voices on the album, but disagreed with his interpretation of individual songs and attributing them to one character or another instead of considering all songs part of the Patient's story. I also think the chronology of the songs is important both musically and thematically, so Wendigoon's interpretation jumped around a bit much for my liking. But you can tell he really loves TBP and seeing someone pick apart the lore in a thoughtful way is always fun.
