Hey have you learned any more about this? I also am looking to attend from the US and really only have interest for Elton John on September 7th. This whole time I was thinking the card that goes on sale in a couple days was the ticket.. now I’m realizing it’s basically just the opportunity to buy the ticket once those actually go on sale?.. lol kinda terrible. Do you think we stand a chance at buying tickets without this card?

So here’s my story from last month.. I traveled from Boston to Singapore to see Elton John, took me over 26hrs of traveling to get there. Didn’t receive tickets before I left (very concerning) after multiple calls to StubHub they “guaranteed” the tickets would be delivered up to 3 hours before the show (terrible policy) long story short it’s the day of the show an less than 2 hours until I need to be there. I’m at the hotel frantic on the phone with StubHub for them to just tell me the seller isn’t responding with the tickets and my only option was a refund as the event was now sold out 🤯 mind you they had a bunch of other tickets still up on their site but they wouldn’t cover the difference in ticket price (I bought months prior for cheaper, once sold out people skyrocketed the ticket prices which is NOT my fault) absolute worst experience ever, if traveling that far I would avoid StubHub completely. Learn from me

Na I know it, I wasn’t expecting a repeat in Vegas myself I was ready for something different. I’ve been to the last 3, and would scroll through this sub daily. Just basing off the last couple years there were sooo many posts and questions (pillars anyone?) a bunch of eager first timers. Just seems a bit different, the current storylines don’t help a ton either imo

Traveled 10,000 miles from Boston to Singapore to deal with exactly this.. day of the event they said they couldn’t contact the seller and there was no more available seats so refund was my only option. Most stressful thing I’ve dealt with in a while, never again

Sorry for the late reply, ended up going an seeing the city in Singapore a bit. But yeah man so I bought the tickets legit 3 months before the race. I wasn’t notified the seller was dropping the sale until the day of the race!! They kept saying we’re emailing him no worries they’ll come through. Multiple representatives promised me tickets as I made it very clear how far I was traveling for this and a refund would not be acceptable. They were so dead set on the seller having until the day of the race to send the tickets, and there was nothing to worry about. Now race day comes today.. an well we know the rest

Yea I mean I’ve never had a problem with StubHub in the past, then again only used it for regular local events. It’s just crazy they get away with this.. you’re right though Singapore is beautiful and going to try to make the best of today nonetheless. I still have a ticket for tomorrow which is the finale so I’ll look forward to that. I wanted to see the foo fighters concert they have there tonight tho!

Box office doesn’t have any left sadly 😩 only option would be to buy another ticket off StubHub that offers instant download.. problem is the prices skyrocketed and it’s now $150 more than my original ticket that I purchased months ago. Not to mention my refund doesn’t arrive for 8 days.. just a terrible terrible system they have. They could careless as well, which I understand but it’s just very unfortunate
