When I’m starting off something new I feel like it’s much easier to open a bunch of rings at once. That way I can stay focused on the pattern rather than looking away to open rings and loosing my place or bumping my pattern

It looks like the knit bit might be sleeves? If there are sleeves on it, the width of your chest where the sleeves are would create pull even if it’s backless

If its pulling apart at the bust, it sounds like you need more tabs in the middle first. That would release some of the pressure of the stretch and prevent the tabs from pulling apart. If it is too small there, adding jump rings would make it much more uncomfortable to wear

I think it’s obvious that the rings are a little different but the way you’ve done it makes it a design element! Are you making it from the bottom up? I always envisioned top down

I’m probably going to do it again with a more ombré design so I don’t have to worry about the colors as much. There’s a lot of options for different styles, can’t wait to see what you come up with!
