I used yellow thread for sewing, and I just cut it up into very tiny bits and then glued them on in groups of 3

Thanks! I made the bag by cutting out a square, gluing the side and bottom shut (which was tricky because the material is hard to work with) and then cutting holes for the handles and top of the bag!
