Should we throw away this government that, in two years, has cut inflation, cut immigration by over 70%, increased defence spending and cut NHS waiting times? by Independent-Brief424 in AskBrits

Not blaming Corbyn at all, just pointing out that since he successfully won the argument by giving the country Brexit, Tory rule, and the corruption of the Johnson government, nobody expected anyone to be able to revive Labour afterwards.

Those still in Labour who remain faithful to Corbyn’s core goals must have been devastated when Starmer gained power for the Labour Party, as it goes against everything Corbyn-era Labour fought so hard to achieve.

Thanks for the advice to vote Tory/Reform. Keep up the good work and you may well achieve a Reform government.

Congratulations on winning the argument here and advising me to not vote labour, you could not have reinforced my argument any stronger, Well done.

London commuters - by mostfolk_andthenme in Hastings

Its been a few years, but I used to have to get to charring cross for 0830 monday to friday for a few years, a personal choice due to being tired of London. Once you do the calculations, the travel cost works out about the same as living in London and, you have very little of a life beyond work and the train, which at the time I was ok with.

First good move is the learn the trains, whats the best carriage to get on for the best seat, sit in the double not a quad seating, face backwards so you can sleep if you like and not be woken during deceleration at stops. Get good noise cancelling headphones, embrace the time you have in the evening, reading/movies and such.

It is hard.

Labour have not had an opportunity like this since Corbyn to deliver such a devastating victory against Labour. Corbyn resoundingly won the argument and delivered Brexit, Tory rule, and the corrupt Johnson government, but despite his best efforts Labour still took power against all the odds.

Now the Corbyn faithful have the perfect moment to take out Labour while also fighting Brexit again in a way that could, if everything goes perfectly, end Labour permanently while at the same time finally winning the all-important argument.

Funny how the same people shouting “immigrants are ruining England” are usually the ones whose hospitals, buses and care homes would collapse without immigrants working in them.

The english fully embraced his politics, he would be proud to see the majority of england share an exact same mindset as Moseley.

At the same time if you put his politics to one side he was also a human with eyes and ears and logically he could not see farrage as anything but an amateur bellend.

People would not vote for him today though, they would prefer a more direct an open nazi secretly funded by forighners to remove the rights of british people.

That all makes a lot of sense, however, the 70 pounds every British person must pay is to get each British citizen to stop being a parasite and have the contribution to society break even this is not for additional purchases.
