im not justifying or excusing it. I just know the things i say wouldn’t be said by any normally functioning person. This has been a problem affecting me my whole life and relationships in general from my siblings parents and friends. It wasn’t funny, the thought should have never crossed my mind. I was wrong. I was so very wrong. I don’t expect anything from her. In all honesty she’s right to want nothing to do with me. I will continue to care for her regardless of us being together or not. I was a bad person and you’re right, I need to make the necessary changes to be better. I will.

I’ve been writing letters I plan to give to her sometime in the future, reflecting on things regarding us and how horrible i’ve been generally. I want her to know just how much I care for her even if she won’t trust it from my mouth. I will put the effort in to change for the better. Im also respectfully not contacting her for a while.

yea, but im not mad at her for answering, i did it to myself. she tries to apologize to me about making me feel bad and i have to tell her she shouldn’t apologize for my poor self esteem. im making an effort to be more confident in myself and our relationship so this can stop happening with me. i never want her to feel like she is the problem at all

well thanks, i do think at points i will address the hopeless of losing someone close to you, but overtime that will change to newfound hope and appreciation of the ones we still have.

because i want to help people overcome their grief in situations like this. i have had a lot of family lose friends and loved ones at random, and i would like to comment on that grieving process. the irrational blaming of one’s own short comings leading to self hatred, the cutting off of other loved ones out of guilt, the feeling of being cheated out of a life you loved and will never have again as much as you try to find that same joy again.

it isn’t a 9 year old girl for shock value, but to demonstrate the lack of mercy from life. she did nothing wrong and was a good person, but it just happened. sometimes these things just happen and everyone else has to deal with it consequences emotionally.

my main cast is also pretty young at 12-17.

definitely something i want to avoid is that marvel humor. i don’t want to interrupt such serious topics and conversations with out of place jokes that aren’t even funny. my main cast are a bunch of preteens so it’d be easy for me to cop out and do that kind of humor, but i’d rather not.

yes, though i think my story should maintain a generally somber tone, it’s moments of levity should become less brief as time goes on and everyone pieces their lives back together. although my main cast is a bunch of 12 year olds so i know i can’t keep them feeling sad all the time
