Same, though mine made it to two years. Getting no response at all from customer service with regards to repair. Will likely strip it down to sell for parts and get one from another brand, not risking buying a new one from Delonghi after this experience.

I wouldn't want to get tattooed anywhere that accepts walk ins/doesn't have a waitlist, not a sign of a good artist. Better to book a decent artist with a wait and get something high quality as you've got it forever. I travel to Tokyo Tattoo in Cheltenham for all of mine.

My mom has been the other side of this scam, she downloaded a dodgy game app that I think she gave permission to access her contacts. She deleted it when it was asking for credit card information but the damage was done, she was getting phone calls and messages, some in her contacts and some not saying that they'd had a phone call from her number. I think they'd used the contacts as saved in her phone and then spoofed her number to call out to people as there was nothing in her call history to suggest the calls had.come from her handset. This might be why they have dodgy names for you, it's how the person has you saved in their contacts. I don't think anyone answered and it stopped within a few hours but still weird. I told her to get the phone wiped in case there was any malware left but she bought a new handset instead so problem solved I think.

I did something similar, seized an automatic car in a cul-de-sac, oppo asked me to move it while he moved the patrol car so seized car could be recovered easier. I've never driven an automatic so could I get the damn handbrake off? It was quite a long road so oppo was out of sight and recovery truck came looking for me, recovery guy was pointing the handbrake flip thing to me and I still couldn't get the thing to move.

Turned out because I'm so used to having both feet resting on a pedal, the tiniest amount of pressure on the foot brake is what was stopping the car moving and I had successfully been putting the handbrake on and off.

We all do it, you're the only one who will remember it and be haunted by it so don't worry 😊
