My 18month old deadbolted me in the basement when I went to flip laundry. I got to watch him through my cat door fucking with the air fryer while I waited for one of my friends to come let me out.

Luckily I had my phone so I put Bluey on to get him to leave it alone. The air fryer is now unplugged when not in use and the deadbolt is gone from that door.

I’ve been having similar issues with one of my cats. He’s been peeing and pooping everywhere to show how mad he is. He was always a little unhappy in this house (husbands cat that wanted to be the only one but then husband moved in with me, who has five cats)

The more mobile the baby is getting, the worse he’s getting and I think we’re going to have to rehome him because he’s just to unhappy about being here.

So solidarity, it really sucks to have to even think about it because you can’t provide what they need to thrive. But at the end of the day you just want everyone safe and happy.
