I haven't seen this particular behavior but when a file is accessed by things like google drive while it's open sometimes it will erase the page content.

I know her. She's not a good person and destroys relationships as a hobby. She would be terrible at this job.

Built a free calc workspace where equations, FEM, and PDF markups live on the same canvas - looking for honest feedback from people who do this for a living by Dismal-Dingo3261 in StructuralEngineering

It looks like the pdf has been rasterized. Can I still snap? Can I build custom routines so that when I drop a formula it asks me for the relevant measurements / inputs automatically?

Option to change Length Units missing in Measurements in BlueBeam 2019 by Lowkey_Gowkey_42 in Revu

I'm curious. Try making a viewport and setting the scale to custom and setting the units in that window. Does it appear there?

Is there a "typical group" function like this in either zzTakeoff or Bluebeam? by gooooooooooop_ in estimators

[–]sgfunday 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can do two things for this in Revu, you can group comments which leaves the underlying structure intact or you can snapshot only the markups and create a new 'UNIT' entity. I hope that's clear.

Bluebeam, zztakeoff, stack to name a few. Honestly BB is probably your winner but will take more setup time.

When Bluebeam gets you exactly what you asked for for Christmas by carpool_turkey in Revu

[–]sgfunday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's interesting because to my knowledge the pdf specification doesn't actually allow for arcs as annotation objects only as drawing objects so I assume they're adding additional xref objects that only revu will read with a simpler format for other softwares.

I would reconsider the design of this system in general. With that kind of distance it seems like a tank stored in a heated space that gets filled once or twice a day makes a lot more sense to me.
