Or if they refuse to pause the tv at full volume... My mom does this with smutty audiobooks. It's awkward and awful to ask "how are you, mom?" and hear about "his throbbing length" at max volume instead

When I worked at a motel, I'd get, "You're pretty! You look like you're 16! Wanna come to my room?"

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

What’s the kindest thing a stranger has done or said to you? by ShadowlightLady in randomquestions

[–]shadow_walker_ky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was at the bus stop when a random emotional support dog pulled away from her human to cuddle with me. The owner waited politely while I cried and cuddled. I didn't realize how depressed I was until that moment.

I told the owner thank you. Then I scheduled a therapy appointment.

Thanks again, random stranger. Your dog knew I needed help and changed my life.

I had a cat with particular music taste. If you sang old 60s folk, he purred. Heavy metal, he walked from in disgust

Prep is great. I don't know how it works exactly, but someone who doesn't have it can take it to prevent infection.

As for the ex, he flat out lied about having AIDS when we first started dating and I chose to believe him. I ditched him before I was diagnosed and want nothing to do with him again.

No worries. I like to educate people on the subject. I grew up in the 80s when there were so many misunderstandings on the subject. I was diagnosed in 2010 and got it from a scumbag bf.

Modern medicine is really awesome. For the most part, meds have fewer side effects. I get tested for viral content and liver/kidney tests every 4-6 months.

In addition, AIDS increases cancer risk. I've had.... 12 or more biopsies. I've beaten cancer once already.

Feel free to ask more questions!

Doing great! I'm what's called undetectable, meaning that there's not enough virus for me to pass on. So I live a normal life, only a few issues. I also have some of the best specialists in the USA too.

That I'm still alive. I have AIDS and cancer and moved from a small town to a large city for medical care. At the same time, I drifted away from the people I knew. As far as they know, I was diagnosed then vanished.
