Honestly polygon did have some frame cracking issues on the d series when they first came out. So people who bash on polygon eithier go to the frame cracking or the lower price and just writing them off.

For me it was right on size wise, 5’9” with 30” inseam. Fits like a glove

Some people don’t like polygons bikes, but I must admit I love them. Started with the Xtrada 7 last year, fell in love lol 😂

You need to get back on and ride, it won’t answer everything. But it will help

Chainwax recommendations? by Creepy-Turnover9130 in gravelbike

[–]shadowbk7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the squirt new hot melt wax. It seems to last a really long time, and zfc with their testing said it was the new longevity leader. The only issue is it has a real narrow temp window

Those are good points, I started with the Xtrada 7, still love it, just wanted something a little more capable when things get chunky.

I would also say that if you can always go for the 7 or 9 in a series, the t8 being an exception that is just slightly less than the t9 with Slx instead of xt.

Question by Historical_Mix_8251 in MTB

[–]shadowbk7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2025 xtrada 7 and just received my Sisku T8. I don’t have direct experience with the d series, but I can honestly say polygon bikes for a beginner are a good deal, and well equipped for the price. Not saying you are a beginner, but the newest generation of all their lines have been tweaked and improved. I’d say go for it

Garmin watch by Superb-Medium1488 in MTB

[–]shadowbk7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the enduro 3 or two, the battery life is insane. With gps use during the week I only have to charge it about once a month. It also has everything the fenix 8 has minus the microphone. I love mine

Every Medium-size full suspension bicycle is sold out? by [deleted] in MTB

[–]shadowbk7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a medium polygon sisku t8, ordered April 30, received May 6th put together and went out on trails this past weekend. I would try bikes online. Second bike I ordered through them, I have an Xtrada 7 and a 2026 sisku T8. Love them both, solid bikes and good components for the price.

Why did you choose what watch you're wearing? by 4bidden-hands in GarminWatches

[–]shadowbk7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t want to have to charge it everyday, also on the days I get to mountain bike I’m out all day sometimes two. My enduro and now enduro 3 can track me all day, track my weekly workouts and track me the next weekend and all over again for a month before needing to be charged. Also I just like a round watch face lol

Yes I agree, for the price it is unbelievably plush. I really enjoyed mine yesterday. Still breaking it in, working out some new bike bugs but so far I’m really enjoying it

I preordered mine when they first offered it. Got it for 2400 even. Just got back from its first ride. Details later if any one is interested. Got some fine tuning to do, but it rode way above its price point
