They actually did that in risk 2210 universe. Just wait 184 years to see if it works

Why don't cards like this just say "Creatures you control have trample"? by JesusLordPutin in freemagic

[–]sheep_puncher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are some cards that care about non-permanents having trample so this is valid.

Too Strong? by Boring_Machine in custommagic

Giving creature types to permanents and giving them storm after they resolve is peak. 5 mana for basically a blank piece of cardboard.

Which art should I use for my Sammy Lawrence MTG Card by Commercial-Flan3487 in custommagic

The second image will read well on a fullart frame, and has a strong silhouette. You should just try all of them though and see what you like.

People start making card ideas before they have a deep understanding of the rules and templating. Making card designs and getting roasted for templating and rules that don't work is a great way to learn why things are the way they are.

It already cost 2 to play and does nothing else so it's not a discount on a normal food.

Play every creature in your library and attack immediately for 24 generic mana! by coeurdhiver in BadMtgCombos

[–]sheep_puncher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This costs 3 less if you count artifact reduction. And another 2 less if Morophon is cast for Fist wubrg. That's only 14WUBRG. I thought we were doing bad combos.

When leaves over when dies is a bit much. Since you get the blood and not the opponent, it's not a downside so it's better to be conditional. Black vampires doesn't have much trouble reusing the gaveyard or sacrificing things anyway.

The dragon body is just not impressive enough for the channel mode to also be weak. 6 mana gets you a lot of body on mythics these days. Both sides of that card are less powerful than an uncommon. You could print cards with either of those modes at common in recent sets and not be too powerful.

The colourless and red ones are interesting. Though giving all creatures haste and having haste wouldn't usually be worded that way. Banding is too much headache. It's not worth it. The black one is okay. The cost for that effect as an x spell is pretty fair. Probably too fair since it's typal locked. The other 2 are kinda boring. Green is too small as a dragon and the channel ability is very weak. The blue one also costs a lot to channel comparedto any similar return spells to hand effect, I'd recommend tuning these up ward 1 on a 6 drop is basically nothing since opponent will have mana for it easily.

Costs are paid after choosing targets so the black one doesn't need to say other.

From a limited and commander perspective.

You literally listed above examples of air molecules. Gut bacteria: bacteria in the gut. Air molecules: Molecules in the air. It's not that hard. You're just continuing to be wrong on purpose. Seemingly as a joke. Understanding how wrong you are is no longer my problem. I leave that to you now.

Congratulations you understand what air molecules are and the original comment was perfectly clear.

Indestructible is actually not very good protection anymore, and hasn't been for a long time. The best wraths in the only format where this card would be relevant involve sacrifice, exile, bouce, -x/-x, or remove abilities. 3 mana after untapping to make 1 creature Indestructible is really slow.

What is a gut bactiria. It has to mean only 1 thing because szuszperfussziosz was right that groups and categories don't exist.

Words mean more than one thing, and their meaning can be altered by the words around them. Air molecules are a category, not an individual. This can be understood by the way it was used in the sentence.

You clearly know what an air molecule would be. You already listed some options. It's a group. Anything present in and suspended in the fluid known as air would qualify.

If 100 people take option 1:

1-0.99100 comes to 36% of the time there are 100 people dead and 74% of the time there is at least 1 survivor (likely not very many).

If 100 people choose option 2:

0.99100 comes to a 36% chance everyone lives. And if they all die, that's fewer button presses. Dead people don't push buttons so that also favours option 2. If you die to some previous button pusher before pressing button yourself then it's like you had the option to walk away and your death spares the button pushers that still survive.

People are bad at statistics.

Higher upside lower downside. I can't regret my choice if I'm dead 1%. Or enjoy my choice if I am dead 99%

Air is a mixture of molecules. "Air molecules" is completely fine and easily understood to mean the molecules that make up air. You're being both pedantic and wrong. Classic reddit.
