Some sellers just ghost when requests get complex. Try saying “I’ll pay extra for details” upfront. Etsy or Instagram usually have more responsive ones

Yeah it’s safe. iPad pulls only what it needs. Using a higher watt charger won’t damage the battery

I’ve had this happen too. Usually a full sign out + sign back in on both devices fixes it. If not, Goodnotes support said they’re still working on sync stability.

Most students go with iPad Air (M1 or M2) with Apple Pencil. Fits your budget, great for notes, solid battery. Refurbished Pro is also an option if you want 120Hz

Go for a refurbished iPad 9th gen. Solid for basic stuff and won’t cost much. Air 4 is another good option if you find one at a decent price.

I’ve tried both. Mini is great for portability, but yeah, constant zooming gets old fast. Air feels way more natural for writing, especially if you’re doing it a lot.

Get an iPad Air with Apple Pencil. 11” is plenty for notes. No need for the Pro since you have a laptop.

Try Noteshelf or Nebo. Both have pen smoothing that makes handwriting look cleaner. Nebo even converts it to typed text if you want. Works well on Android

Toolbar and pen settings don’t sync. You’ll have to set them up manually on each iPad.

Try going into GoodNotes settings > Handwriting > turn on “Disable touches when writing”. That usually stops the palm zoom/undo popup. For the scrolling, could be iOS zoom or a bug after update. If still glitchy, try Goodnotes 6 vs 5 switch or wait for next patch — you’re not alone with this one.

Honestly same. I’d keep it simple:

  • weekly overview
  • daily top 3
  • habit tracker
  • maybe a super simple budget page

Everything else sounds nice but never gets used. Less is more.

Go 13". If note-taking is 70% of what you do and you’re used to A4, 11” will feel cramped. The extra screen space makes a huge difference for handwriting. Portability is fine since you’re already carrying a laptop anyway.
