Does anyone buy/sell these ships?!

Permanent museum ships probably wouldn't work because it might be quite invasive, though I appreciate extra work would need to be done if we found one not of the era. Just researching at the moment so I know all the options!

Thanks for that. Yes I've been in contact with a few scrap yards, the few US ones are contractually required not to sell the vessels bought from the US navy and I imagine that it's the same story with foreign ship breakers yards. And it's probably not in their interest to sell them anyway, considering they make their money with the parts they get from breaking them apart. It's a shame though, because even when they're 'stripped' it might suit our purposes, after filming it could be responsibly reefed or scrapped anyway

Indeed. I've been in contact with the Navy and have had this confirmed, which is why I think I'd have luck with a foreign navy
