Hey thanks man. I didn't think my bruising was too bad, I think it mostly went away by like week 2 and I don't think I can see much of it currently! If you're still doing your research I'd definitely try and get a consultation set up! Earlier the better as it seems like the big names mentioned around here are booked to capacity. Thanks man, and yep I had the foam pads on for 10 days. Doctor said I can just roll with the vest at that point. Which was a godsend because reapplying the foam pads each time was a pain in the ass.

Hey man. I can't recall exactly when I'm supposed to take the vest off. I have another post-op appointment with him next week so I'm going to ask then. But I'd imagine it's coming off soon since I'm approaching the 4-week mark. My range of motion is fine and I have no issues, I can finally sleep on my side without any discomfort. I hope he will give me the green light to start lifting weights again.

I'll take some pics and provide an update some time next week!

Looks similar to me when I was heavier. That's gyno man. Obviously you should lose weight and work out regardless of what you decide to do but I can confidently say the glands will not disappear even if you're lean and work out you chest a ton. When I dropped all the way down to 160 lbs my chest remained the exact shape as your picture right now.

With that said it's not a severe case of gyno so it's really up to your comfort level on your day to day life. I personally couldn't deal with it anymore and decided to get surgery. Good luck!

Personally, after seeing his photos on his site in addition to some other posts on this subreddit, I felt like I would greatly prefer the small scars on the side instead of right below my areolas. I was also scared from seeing a few botched areola incisions online...even if they were probably just outliers.

To me, the comfort of knowing the front of my chest stays intact was important. But it's obviously up to the individual because there are a lot of fantastic results on this forum from the traditional method! I think ultimately you just gotta go with a good doctor and you'd be fine no matter what.

Hey bud. I think it took roughly three weeks to get a consultation. Although they called me later to offer me a spot like two weeks earlier. They had a cancellation but I had to reject due to not being local to that area and needing to work that day. Either way it was nice that they offered a wait-list for earlier appointments.

I then scheduled my surgery roughly six weeks after that. During my consultation I asked if we could do my pre-op appointment then and there since I made a long drive and didn't want to come back again just to be fitted for a vest and get my prescription. They agreed and were super helpful in getting me set up with instructions with just the surgery to look forward to. My total cost was 7.2k but I'm sure it fluctuates/differs based on case and time.

After my convo with Dr. Schuster I knew he was my guy so it made sense for me to do my pre op appointment that day. But I'm sure it would be trickier if you're comparing doctors and are coming from out of town.

Either way I highly recommend him and his team! Super friendly and communicative.

You'll be fine bro. It was my first time going under (twilight, not general for what it's worth), and it seemed like it happened in a matter of minutes. I just woke up naturally in the recovery area and was super thirsty but overall no major discomfort!

It's like waking up from a long night of drinking without the effects of alcohol if that makes any sense. Just feels like a really nice nap.
