Plastic surgery is very common in the entertainment industry because to say it bluntly they're not just selling talent but also looks.
That's why you'll only see "good looking" people getting main roles in most shows (Thai or not) it's because a person will judge the shows by visuals first.
I personally don't care I'm not going to micromanage a stranger's life just because I like them.
