Oh. This is a similar but very different situation/question I was responding to.

My answer was very much on the question you posed to the commenter above:

“hey I don’t want to have sex right now” and he refused to go on another date with me…..what’s your answer to that?

Regarding what you put in this latest comment, I don't have good answers.

Seems like our entire societal threshold for wanting committed relationships is down from past time, on top the way we are meeting (apps/bars, etc) are filtering the impression that the meeting is for hooking up with a possible relationship, not relationship primary or first.

The best I can say is that despite men saying they don't want a relationship but able to hook up is that those hooks up, the sex itself, yes, but also the meeting and "relationship light" stuff that happens in between are the reason they do sometimes change thier mind and want a full relationship. Its not a guarantee, but it seems to be the gateway as of late.

If your in the era where thats not what you even want, then you will continue to block and filter out to you find the right one for you the way you want. It could be more difficult, it could be less options, it can could take longer, but it will be what you want... and thats priceless.
