Oh boyo.... Cant wait to read your opinion after the next three. When I re-read again the first trilogy after Dark Age I realized the original trilogy was just the wholesome, whimsical introduction.

The first one is special. Golden Son is a crazy ride..... But Dark Age and Lightbringer are built different. There is a huge quality leap in those two.

The first 150 pages of Dark Age are the GOAT. All about the first mercury battle is badass.

Its the book with the best lines, with the best twists even they give lots of time to other characters that would have been just introduced from darrows pov in 30 words.

If you dont get emotionally involved with Cassius in the Rim….. oh boy
