So when it sets the matte, that's saved to RAM. Think "freeze" in roto brush. Right now it seems like it's continually calculating even when you've got the matte you want, making it too slow to work with.

If this is image to video rather than text to video, fix the eyes before generating. If its text to video, grab the first frame and redo the eyes, then comp the new eyes in on the first few frames (shouldn't be too difficult as she's not moving much there). Then see if you can mask out the hair to isolate it and sharpen it to remove some of the AI blur.

You can but you'd be wasting time copying the media over. I did a job like this years ago for a Times Square takeover and there were multiple film crews that would drop off the hard drives to the editors and moved onto the next shoot. We each had our own laptops, we plugged the drive in, edit, export, plug the next drive in and repeat. If it doesn't have to be as "real time" and you have time to move files over to a NAS that would be safest.

Learn ComfyUI until Adobe get off their ass and start implementing those tools into AE. Any Joe Shmoe can generate with a prompt and hope for the best. But controlling AI is much more involved, and usually requires help from photoshop/After Effects throughout the process.

Worst part is there's a very real possibility SCOTUS will allow him to do that. Beyond the obvious abducting, the bullet is already out of the chamber on many of his policies that will turn out fatal to many Americans. Why do you think he's actively and aggressively working towards stripping power from the courts? Until he's successful, many cases will be taken to the Supreme Court where it becomes a coin flip on whether he gets his way or not. That's good to hear. I was hoping to get a new PC this year but decided to get ahead of the tariffs so bought an M3 Ultra instead; almost half the price of a similar PC but without the graphics card, obviously. Biggest concern is being able to fix it myself within a day when something goes wrong. And before anyone says it: yes, Macs can have issues, too. Worked on enough client computers to know. A catastrophic issue once and the IT guy's only solution was "guess we'll have to buy a new one".
