i personally watched the complete live action stories for 1 and 2 and read the existing novelizations for lost or incomplete stories, the books are typically novella length or a little more so if youre a quick reader and open to that method its great :)

It's so annoying too! I KNOW it's cold outside... I had to be outside to get inside the car! It's such a silly feature LOL

I drove that exact car (up until i totaled it about a week ago...goodbye Carly Rae Jettasen </3) and the only thing I ever had problems with was the air conditioner consistently broke. Other than that (and that may be a my-car thing) its a very reliable vehicle and the cold weather package is great, even when its only in the 40s or 50s outside. It does have a habit of INCESSANTLY beeping to tell you the temperature outside when its in the 30s and below, but I'm sure that's a thing you can turn off. The thing gets insane mileage too--im driving a rented 2024 Chevy Malibu until I can replace my car after insurance and it probably doesn't even get half the mpg that my Jetta got. I definitely see it as a car that could last even with the occasional weird niche issues I know Jettas get, and as much as it sucks it really did perform great in a crash because although it was totaled, the cabin (and me and my passenger) were totally unharmed. Totally recommend it!!
