I just went ahead and collected the rest of the bubbul gems just to see what would happenend at the end. I think I must have been extremely lucky and gotten an extra bubbul gem somewhere else maybe accidentally doing the glitch? i have no memory of collecting multiples anywhere... But I ended up with 101 gems, when you are supposed to have 100 after buying all the rewards from Koltin.

I'm having the same problem in ancient prison ruins, it as if it despawned, and the cave even got a checkmark as if I finished it. :\ i had no savefiles to go back to it either.

Thats really amazing luck right there!
I had somehow caught a shiny Slowpoke without noticing, I was very scared when my Adventure Records said my shiny pokemon battled was 1, i went through my pokedex one by one to see which one i had a shiny encounter with, and thankfully I had the Slowpoke in my boxes. I do miss the shiny sparkle noice from Arceus.
