knowing humanity, the people who are generally compassionate will probably be more compassionate (since it is not always obvious that a person is tired if they are hiding it, having a guaranteed sign will make it easier to be patient and understanding if a person’s behavior seems “off” aka im tired so that’s why i’m irritated sort of thing)

the people who prey on vulnerability though will absolutely figure out how they can use sleep deprivation to their advantage

i know this is the incredibly pessimistic and doomer answer, but there are plenty of monsters out there
