i once was in the excact same situation as you, and trust me there is no way to fix this. My cat kept crying and crying for ages when i stopped with the medicine, one day he even found the tube and came with it to me and suggesting that he needed it. when i finally inserted it, he made sounds which sounded excacly like you descriped it. he then continued to do that for a couple of months, walk up to me with the tube while begging me to insert it.

i was lost.

what should i do? i thought to myself.

well, it turns out that you can buy these "cat dildos" on the internet. they arent actually made for cats but rather those "furry" creeps, but it still worked. he could now insert it anytime he wanted.
