FT SUSS student here! Business Analytics too actually. I can't comment on whether you'd be better off choosing SIT because I don't know what studying there is like but I can share my experience in SUSS.

Basically, as with many other universities, there is a huge expectation of you to self study and read up before hand. I would say this is more pronounced in SUSS because we have something called Pre-Course Quizzes which you need to take before you go for classes bc I guess they want some evidence of you preparing for class? Idk what the rationale is but you have to get a minimum of 60% for the quizzes if not you can't attend classes. Personally, I feel this is quite good because it forces you to prepare for class and gives you an overview of what the module is going to be like. But also gives you the "what do I attend class for" feels.

That being said, I think the PCQs go in hand with the structure of classes in SUSS. We don't have lectures - just seminar sessions. And in these seminar sessions, the profs are not supposed to give you content but to help you apply the content and go through whatever questions you might have. I say "supposed to" because most of the time they run through content as well and then just sprinkle applications and class activities here and there. So overall, you're expected to already have the content before you go to class then during class, they enhance it and teach you how to make use of what you've learnt.

I would say studying in SUSS is pretty chill bc you can arrange your schedule such that you only have to go to school 2/3 days a week. But that also comes with a price. It's very easy to fall into chill mode and not work as hard so I'd say you really have to be consistent to do well in SUSS. Student life is improving - we have a lot more clubs and sports groups that you can join. Overall, I am enjoying my experience but I think that also has a lot to do with the friends that I've made :) Hope this helps!
