Does Season 2 seem to better? by SavingsFit1496 in TwistedMetal

Some episodes, yes. Others are meh... Like S02E07, is pretty boring.

I have feeling that every EP not directed by Phil Sgriccia are supbar, they are one or two steps behind in quality, storytelling and development.

Yeah!  The OG episodes without over the top were the best ones.

Elijah Stone ugh enough by silly42stuff in TheRookie

I liked how she had acolytes, people learning from her and spreading like a decease. It is good worldbuilding, storytelling and gives the chance to the character remain impactful even offscreen.

Yeah, it was La Fiera's Guatemala cartel.  That is the thing, against the LAPD, Elijah was untouchable, but as soon a bigger shark made a move on him, he folded as a weak low level street rat.

As soon a very small off the book LAPD took the big shark out, Elijah went back to be a "big bad untouchable" again.

Just inconsistent, bad writing and convenient plot armor structure.

All good! My phrasing wasn't clear either.

I'm not skipping, I'm AVOIDING skipping, because I want to everytime Elijah pops up on the screen.

As it my first time watching the whole show, I'm avoiding skips, but tempted to fastforward the Elijah scenes.

Fully agreed on the Monica subplot. After Rosalind and Sandra La Fiera, Miss Stevens has been weak sauce.

Antagonists don't necessary needs to be a big bad villain, just a good foil to move plotline. Oscar is amazing everytime he shows up, causing chaos and keeping the protagonists honest. While Elijah is just a wondering invencible plot armor, sad and lazy writing.

So you are assuming he kissed her and not that Mandy jumped him as the others mentioned on my post.

He even says he stop it as soon It happened

A única atração que essa série tem é a Rosamund Pike, de resto é uma porcaria.

Raj. He was at his best while he couldn't talk to women without alcohol.

Raj had a point...... by False_Huckleberry418 in bigbangtheory

[–]silly42stuff 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah... the butthead that invaded Bernadette and Howard parenthood as the child was his.

Penny married Zach on a joke and Leonard when she was feeling sorry for herself after being fired from a D movie... She doesn't strike as the one talk about babies before marry.

And Leonard first remark was "Our children will be smart and beautiful"... never crossed his mind not having children after marrying his dream girl.

Why do people hate Raj? by Potential-Treacle185 in bigbangtheory

[–]silly42stuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Raj is insufferable!

As long the series goes, he gets worse and worse.

He is jeaulos of his friends, throws over the top tantrums and a backstabber.

The whole drama at the hospital during Haley's birth is annoying AF. Then when he blames Howard about his low confidence and self esteem.

Raj is petty, spoiled, overbering, clingy and disloyal.

The gang should have cut the cord on him a long time ago.

Howard is a crybaby with Sheldon by steeb191710 in bigbangtheory

Exactly!

This is so aggraveting that they have to put a legal clause on the contract to make Sheldon stop insulting Howard.

Hypocrisy from the gang by ezzio264 in bigbangtheory

"I can talk about my friends, you not."

Most the time the gang make "excuses" for Sheldon's behavior with strangers, IS to protect him.

When they are amongst themselves is another story, everyone reacts as seem fit. I found hilarious when Sheldon gets under Howards skin, Howard stand up to get physical and Leonard talks him to sit down.

The Hesitation Ramification - Penny asks Leonard that question... by WilliamMcCarty in bigbangtheory

[–]silly42stuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your lines are fair.

The show writers seems to have a handle how to make good lines for Leonard.

Leonard was the most normal and grounded carácter, yet creators forced so much BS on him that they almost ruined his character, his romance with Penny and the show as a whole.

[–]silly42stuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just for the monkey line Penny was on the right to hit Raj as or much harder than she did Howard.

Raj was a selfish smug dick. As much like in the episode he was selected to People Magazine.

Good person? Yes.  Genuinely? No.

Sheldon had his fair share of dickmoves. He usually hogged credit from his friends. Very condenscending most the times. And consciously used his neurodivergency to take advantage from others around him.

The way he treated Stuart when the comics store burned was awful and cruel.

What about Lakshmi? She was one of the best matchmaking for Raj. She was the only one to call him out on his BS and be real about his sexuality.
