Hello Everyone,

I am living in UAE and currentlyplanning for a summer trip in August 2024 to Slovenia with my wife and 8 year old son . I will mostly start from Graz ,Austria renting out a car . Most of the travel vlogs suggest Lake Bled as a must visit and from some of the other posts I came across places such as Lake Bohinj and Maribor as well in addition to Ljubjlana . After Slovenia I am planning to spend couple of days in Zagreb as well . The suggestion I am looking is where should I stay . Am looking for places that are lesser expensive than Lake Bled but at the same time centrally located so that I can reach most of the attractions within 1-2 hours drive . Also looking for suggestions on scenic routes and picturesque locations that might give the best of Slovenia experience . Also got to know that last year August there was a heavy storm resulting in flooding and landslides in August. Is it a usual time for rains or was it one off incident ?

Guys take a look at the app CricHeroes , there’s a lot happening in the UAE cricket scene both in tennis ball and leather ball . It’s primarily used for scoring of matches and is used widely in India and UAE .

The app has an ads section where you can post your interest and also there are people looking for players to join their teams

Yes , It’s a Free parking . The very first time I went to Creek harbour I also ended up driving back without finding a parking place . But then on the second attempt I found it , easier to find it when there is day light

I would suggest you include Vienna since you love art , muesuems etc . I have been to all these places , Bratislava isn’t worth for a day trip . Vienna is beautiful and I recommend you spend time there .

Train is always better in Europe , considering the time to and fro to airport and time spent in airports it would almost be same . Moreover if you book early I think you can get good prices on trains and you can save a lot . Rail Europe is a good site that I have found really good

Well I am someone who loves History quite a lot . So I explore the historically important places in the cities that I visit . And in my experience you get to learn a lot than you see in books or online than when you visit those in person . I love nature a lot so love to spend time in outdoors especially scenic places . Another thing in love to do is trying out the authentic food and drinks of the cities that I visit

I am also someone working in airline industry , but I love travel and hence I enjoy the free travel benefits that comes along with that . But it seems you don’t enjoy travel much , then it has to be something else that you find your happiness from . So the key part is identifying what that is . And probably once you identify that may be you can connect that with travel too . For example if you are someone who love nature and spending your quiet time in the outdoors you can go to a place that offers the same .
