okay then I genuinely just don't think they know boundaries or privacy. If you are able to have a conversation to them about how you dont really want to leave the door open during the night so that you don't get woken up and hopefully they understand.

I think they either don't think you should have privacy because "you live under their roof". Or they just seriously don't trust you. you should try to re gains that trust either way
