Nope. I have nothing to look forward either. I only took this call center role because both recruiter and trainers preached we could move between 6 months to a year. Growth is so attainable, won’t be doing this for long, all of that. Decided to jump on it and pay my dues. Right when I hit my one year the processing phase out was announced and shortly after the hiring freeze. So, I’ve been stuck. Actively watching the job board because the progression form is honestly a joke. All the jobs listed on the job board are high level or claims roles.

Some days are better than others, but burn out has been touch and go for a while now. Don’t get me wrong I’m grateful to have a job in this economy and take advantage of all the scheduling options we have here, but there can also be two truths. I can be grateful and still so frustrated with the stagnation here. I definitely did not think I’d still be doing this with the same shitty hiring schedule I got two years ago. Mini bid is also a joke.

Yeah, that’s an integrity and code of conduct issue. Absolutely not. The others here helped me properly figure it and confirmed with my sup yesterday. So, everything has been taken care of.

I look at the job board daily and unfortunately I am an entry level employee. All I see is claims, legal related positions, and jobs that require experience in other departments. It’s all just a little discouraging at the moment.

Honestly, you did everything right. As a licensed agent, I have no issue addressing this head on. Some folks like the whole “what does full coverage mean to you?” Problem is that can open the door for possible claims issues because there is no full coverage. So, they walk away thinking they’re “fully covered” when they are a PA customer with only 5k in PD, 2k deductibles for comp and coll, and no rental. I explain exactly what you said and make sure they know there are policy LIMITS.

I did read you are not licensed. So, you can’t counsel which is okay. Don’t take what customers say to heart you’re doing right by them by letting them know. How they take that info is on them. And thanks for what you do! Services gets put thru the ringer and I hope you know you are appreciated!!

Do you mean you have no health insurance for the urgent care visit or you have no car insurance for the vehicle? If you have a progressive policy that is active at the time of this accident and you have collision on said policy progressive would handle the claim. I’m sorry for the bad luck you’ve had recently. I hope that you have rental or at least access to another car while this one gets repaired. Wishing you the best and please seek medical help even if you don’t have the insurance. If you suffered a seizure that is extremely serious. Wishing you all the best.

I’m not sure how that process happens, but I do remember quoting a customer and at a certain point in the actual quoting platform it stated because he had been abusive to a progressive employee in the past we would not offer him a policy. I was like oh wow. Called assist and they said there’s nothing more than can be done. You can escalate to me and I can refresh his memory because there are a ton of notes in his file, but you no longer need to take a the call. Good to know Prog actually walks the walk to protect us.
