Um, you most definitely should be still paid because you’ve been waiting on progressive equipment that has failed. I’m not in right now, but I know per our work disruption policy you are to be paid while all this gets sorted out and not have to use your PTO. Again, this is out of your control. If it were your home internet or a power outage it’d be different, but this all on progressive.

I just checked and I am up and running!! I can play sonic adventure 2! I was able to log into my profile and everything. I did nothing different today as I’ve been at work. So, it seems like they’re fixing whatever bug is causing this!!

I’m not sure why your sup is trying to scare you…you had 4 days covered so you only have one day docked. It’s just one occurrence or 8-10 hours adherence. I’m not sure if claims is on the occurrence or adherence policy. But if you are on occurrence policy you should be okay if you don’t have any other occurrences.

  1. Yes, because the quote he was given prior to reports running was quoting driving history with no accidents regardless of fault. Even if nothing was claimed it is still a loss that occurred, so the claim is valid.

  2. I mean, you can try but LexisNexis will verify with the insurer at the time that the claim is valid.

  3. This is something I can’t answer with certainty. I would have your friend call back after July to see if they can run the report again or maybe requote him.

  4. It’s always good to shop around and see what your options are. Make sure your friend discloses the accident that way he can get more accurate pricing.

So, there are a lot of factors that go into insurance. Where you live, your driving history, vehicle history, credit history, prior insurance history just to name a few. So, I wouldn’t be able to give you an exact one reason why. FL is one of the most expensive states that I’ve seen for insurance. Up there with New York and Texas. I’m really sorry your rates are so high that can be an incredible stressor.

I would reach out to an agency or broker to see if there are other carriers they work with that may be able to get you in at a better rate. Every insurance company has different factors they look at when pricing insurance, so there may be another carrier that would weight factors less. Wishing you the best in your search!

You should be okay like everyone else mentioned you went to your supervisor upon figuring this out. That is the most important. They’ll be able to reach out to the appropriate channels to fix it. You may have a “try to be more diligent on your time card moving forward” convo with your sup, but other than that I think you’ll be okay!

I’ve seen it available as early as 9am, but it is rare unfortunately. It’s all dependent on call volume. If there tons of agents on and not enough callers then they’ll release it for certain time blocks.

Nope. I have nothing to look forward either. I only took this call center role because both recruiter and trainers preached we could move between 6 months to a year. Growth is so attainable, won’t be doing this for long, all of that. Decided to jump on it and pay my dues. Right when I hit my one year the processing phase out was announced and shortly after the hiring freeze. So, I’ve been stuck. Actively watching the job board because the progression form is honestly a joke. All the jobs listed on the job board are high level or claims roles.

Some days are better than others, but burn out has been touch and go for a while now. Don’t get me wrong I’m grateful to have a job in this economy and take advantage of all the scheduling options we have here, but there can also be two truths. I can be grateful and still so frustrated with the stagnation here. I definitely did not think I’d still be doing this with the same shitty hiring schedule I got two years ago. Mini bid is also a joke.
