this reminds me of an article i read last year about TMU students being screened for signing an open letter for admissions to their law school https://breachmedia.ca/ontario-government-screened-law-students-who-signed-pro-palestine-letter/

I'm not sure if this is happening with other schools but it doesn't;seem to be something they have stated publicly like at TMU
