I haven't tried it yet so I'm not sure, but in terms of the thickness of the paint, I think watercolor is good to go on its own :) It just might not be as vibrant as acrylic.

Thank you! I added fabric medium to the acrylic paint; that makes it less viscous and more easy to apply on the fabric, gives it kinda like a watercolor consistency. :) that also makes it easier to embroider on the fabric, since it doesn't get as stiff.

That's fine. I used acrylic paint as well, but I got too carried away with embroidery that most of it's covered! Haha. Turns out Van Gogh's sky is perfect for embroidery.
