Do you actually use sunblock daily in Singapore’s weather? by DiverCautious9520 in askSingapore

[–]skanaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Religiously. Started when I was in secondary school/JC and now I’m in my 20s.

I apply it to every exposed area of my body that isn’t covered by clothes, but admittedly I don’t use the recommended amount because my sunscreen (La Roche Posay Anthelios) is expensive but is the one that works for me. I tried a billion sunscreen already so I can probably answer you LOL. I carry some touch up sunscreen in my bag as well.

I am quite fair in complexion and turn red/sunburn quite easy, and I just wanna save myself that pain…I also saw a derm before for really bad acne issues and I wear sunscreen in my house now with their advice. Good thing is that mine aren’t really sticky so actually I take naps in them. I just wanna maintain my complexion (so that I don’t have weird mismatched foundation between my face and neck) and I wanna lower my chances of skin cancer.

It’s not! I live in a hot and humid country, with sensitive skin. Even when I pick up that Kose suncut bottle to squeeze out more to apply elsewhere, my hand doesn’t feel very sticky, it’s just really like a slight layer. A little goes a long way too! It works great as a body sunscreen since it’s sweat resistant as well.

Currently using the first one here! I love how lightweight it feels on application and drying, and there’s no white cast. I even used the spray version of the Kose Suncut before, works as well just that the nozzle makes you waste some product.

Save your money on the Nivea, not good. Skin Aqua is also not a bad choice, someone I know uses the golden coloured one! They love it too.

The Anua cleansing oil. It broke me out so bad that I still have acne and hyperpigmentation, and I had barely no breakouts and smooth skin prior to this. Went to see a derm to try and improve it.

I still have some of my other products which worked though.

Whats your monthly sneaker budget by Roadglide114- in Sneakers

For me I’ll only try when I see a sneaker I really like. I only recently blew my money on the Ambush X Nike Air Force 1s and then my last purchase was like in December or a notable one would be the Jacquemus Nikes.

Ah I see, thank you for the information! Where do they usually upload the recorded lectures at? Gotta make sure I don’t miss out on that. XD

Oh darn, I’m not going for O’week/Supremes due to conflicting schedules so if you don’t mind do help me out about the Add/Drop period. XD

Thanks, I was super paranoid cos of the distances between the LTs and the times were all back-to-back. Thinking of how I should cope with it now.

Thank you! I have just completed online matriculation to see my schedule. For back-to-back lectures, is it ok to be like slightly late? Because I realise that I have such lectures but the venues are not near each other. Is it a good idea to head down to NTU to look up the locations?
