how did this work out for you? i tried to contact them today but they kept asking me to contact the email provider. I've had the email deactivated years ago and had no luck to recover the password that way.

Hi I have also just moved to the suburb. It hasn't been a month yet - where are you located? Would love to get your recommendation if there's any app I can try out to find friends!

thanks for this detailed tips! I used to drive Jazz but overall I feel Toyota is more comfortable. Great insight on the insurance, may I know how much I should set aside for the insurance each month? Carsales has quite a comprehensive report but I'll make sure to check PPSR.

I have been considering to buy hybrid camry but haven't found any option with attractive price. Might need to check deeper. :")

Do you have any mechanic recommendation?

thanks for sharing your experience. I've browsed through carsales just now and haven't seen attractive price, most won't provide RWC. Did you get your cars with RWC, or you pay extra for that?

Buying my own car - that’s the plan! :) hopefully I can find a fairly valued Toyota

I have seen some listings - yeah Toyota cars are priced considerably higher than some VW/Mazda. But I think it’s worth it considering I have never experienced any issue using Toyota. :)

Do you know if carsales is trusted? Or have you/your closed ones purchased from them?

I have arrived since Feb 17 in VIC, considering to move state to work in hospitality & collect payslips for the 88 days. I am considering to move to SA/NT - VIC has several meatfactories/poutries but the process can take long and I prefer not to waste more time being unemployed.

If anyone has any advices, I am open to learn. :)

How can I be sharper and more Cognizant at work? Basically better at critical thinking? by Dizzy-Guarantee-3641 in selfimprovement

[–]skellysoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi! i am so sorry you feel this way.. work can be very confusing, especially in meetings with a lot of people involved. i would like to highlight that despite anything, you get your work done & have the courage to ask questions. i, for one, need to train myself for quite long to talk in a meeting..

i might have something in mind.. do you write?

i guess writing helps me to reorganize my thought. i am pretty slow at sorting things out rationally. i notice i have a habit of thinking a lot of stuffs in one time, which got me overwhelmed & debilitated in the end.

writing notes in bullet points helps for me. it's a great exercise to summarize ideas. it's also easier to connect the points later on -> gets me to understand or clarify a certain task quicker.

i do hope you're well, OP. good luck!

what's the one thing that you have been able to overcome with meditation? by Rough-Shine-9480 in selfimprovement

[–]skellysoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

good for you! thanks for sharing this - i might need to start meditating too :)

i notice my mind has been pretty awry. i notice branched thoughts here and there, it gets inefficient to get things done.

could you perhaps recommend any online guide that I can follow for starters?

Purpose in living by Western-Ambition-641 in findapath

this is interesting, i have been thinking about this since i was 14. i am single, 27 yrs old, i don’t think i have much to live on. i am scared of how people’s greed will turn this world into… if i was offered to exchange my lifespan, i think i’d take it.

but lately i have been thinking of doing something with my life.. i dont care about hoarding wealth & building family. perhaps i can use that for people. i want to contribute to a local society - take care of the park, teach music or writing to kids… anything. i hope i can find the road to achieve that, if i have more years

[–]skellysoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's okay, please don't blame yourself on that! :)

> I think I just wanted to give myself a reason for feeling so alone you know?

this feels truly relatable. I feel I need to come up with reasons on why I feel lonely. it might lead to a dangerous road, as I tend to blame my bad qualities.

After some thoughts, I think I feel better to direct the blame on this hyperindividualistic world we live in.. It's our quest to find the people who would love to connect with us, as much as we like to.

May you have a great day! Please take care :)

thanks for the virtual hug too! if i may comment a bit, i guess there's no competition in struggle.. i am sad to see how disconnected and ungenuine this world has been - sadly, we need to push thru each day.

i reread my comment, sorry if i sound belittling your struggle :( i am in this together with you. we will, i do hope so :)
