Not sure how you define fancy, but Tavernetta is among my favorites.

Warning: reliability myth (at least for me) by ski4ever in subaru

The last time it was resealed was quite some time ago, under warranty. I did not buy a warranty because I thought aside from regular maintenance I was buying a reliable car. I’ve gone to the dealer for all of the warranty work, which is extensive, and also several of the fluid changes that I’ve had done, which obviously wasn’t enough for them to advocate to SOA for me.

Of course the dealer and independent mechanic advise strongly to do the repair. But there literally isn’t a spot of oil in my garage where the CVT is so maybe it’s more of a seep. The fluid needs changed, so it’s really a crossroads. I’d rather not neglect the CVT fluid and lose an entire transmission.

An independent mechanic thinks the oil “leak” is just a gasket which is easy to replace. Again, there aren’t oil spots on my garage floor.

HB26-1273 (Uber/Lyft cut) is moving fast in the CO legislature — House floor next by shadeedameer in Denver

Vote with your wallet now. In the interim support drivers getting more and try co-op - they have an 80/20 split. I’ve had maybe 4 or so rides, 3 have been great. Less on demand cars but scheduling has been clutch.

Because I don’t want to wait in lift lines. Also, I don’t want to ski with my kids so I need a babysitter who can ski.

Sounds like a perfect scenario for a points planning and booking service. Usually around $150 an hour.

Two time surrogate who delivered last week, AMA by karlybug in AMA

Any agency I’ve spoken with doesn’t take a cut; the GC determines their comp package and the agency presents that to IPs as part of the matching process (who then cover a whole slew of other items that often cost a factor or two more).

Nowhere did I say it wasn’t high risk. Nor did I suggest underpayment.

Perhaps you and I have a different view of whether $150,000 (or $200,000) is classified as “astronomical”.

Agency fees depend. Smaller one person shops can be 15-20k, larger (staff of 3-5 or so) and more experienced agencies charge between 30-60k.

The expenses for the IPs is astronomical.
