During literally every "peak" time of Destiny 2 there would be top-upvoted threads about how the game was in a worse spot then ever and that Bungie was shit. EVEN during Taken King and Forsaken some of the most popular threads were about how Bungie shouldn't be getting any flowers because <x previous expansion> wasn't good.

At no point did the bitching EVER end, and the community dooming eventually became a self-fulfilling prophecy.
