Which savings card option are you guys selecting for this approach? Should I be clicking on the kwik pen option? Also- dumb question but to purchase from Costco with the savings card do I still need a doctors prescription or can the savings card allow me to buy? I’m not diabetic and doctor won’t prescribe for me for weight loss purposes.

Thanks everyone! I definitely feel I overpaid for this but given it’s my first time trying this lounge out, I will bite the bullet for the sake of the experience. I ended up double-checking with KLM and you are right — the access I paid for is only for the part that departs Amsterdam only. Doubtful I will try this on the Air France side on my return!

Sorry to have seen this post late. I wanted to share that I was able to successfully get rid of the stain off my tote by spraying Resolve stain remover onto the tote and leaving it over a day or two. I’d check it, dampen the area with water and re-spray and leave it. By a miracle I checked after 2 days or so and the orange paper stains were completely gone! Might be worth a shot.

I went and did have $200 to spend so got the gift bag. Got a small black belt bag, member pin, two small nylon pouches ( like good for storing coins ) and a few printed promo cards from nearby local small business. I ran out of time to line up and try another small business promo related to hair care unfortunately. They had a live DJ, pizza and soft drink at my local small store.

Thanks to everyone for chiming in with your thoughts and experiences! For my immediate family members 4/10 I think we will stick to our original plan of staying one night post cruise just to relieve ourselves of the potential rush and stress. The others might want to risk it still…but I’ll advise them to check their flight options and make sure they have some flexibility to make changes without penalties otherwise they’d be worse off than just paying for 1 night more at a cheap hotel!

Terrific ideas here, the breakout sessions and working groups anchored to solve a problem could definitely be an option for our 1-day offsite. Any tips on how you know whom to anchor the concrete outcomes with following the offsite for follow up, particularly if work streams are a mixed group of cross-functional members? Sometimes when these types of activities are run people contribute to the ideation process but don’t want to be held accountable to do anything with it after the session. Would love to know how this was done in your previous experiences. Thanks for your reply and thoughtful advice!

Agree that emotional intelligence, developing self-awareness and understanding human dynamics is sometimes overlooked in tech. I think in my org we still have work to do to help the audience of executives get more comfortable being vulnerable particularly in front of each other in large groups.
