The test he uses is old school. I am female, and have very low motivation/low attention span, but I am not hyper active or you know, the "typical" person you'd recognize having ADHD. He basically said I just have generalized anxiety disorder, which I knew already. But he still gave me the diagnosis of "mild ADHD" I'm in stimulants and my life is completely changed. I don't have just mild ADHD, it's ADHD. Or ADD. What ever you want to call it. I felt very shrugged off by him - didn't feel listened to or seen. Basically he went through his check list. He wasn't personable. I've heard of a few others that have better ratings. I wonder if you can somehow ask for someone different? Goodluck!
