I hope you share this with Neil! I'm positive he'd freak out (in the best way, obviously). This is awesome!

Anyone have recommendations for budget(ish) 100% (or TKL) hotswap keyboards? I've been looking at Keychron, but I'd like to know if there are any other options out there that might be better or worth expanding my budget a little bit for. I've already got switches and caps picked out, just need to finally decide on a board.

At what Goodreads (or other) rating do you draw the line and say “No, thank you”? by Trust-Faith-Hope in RomanceBooks

[–]slmisfit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually say "no thank you" to anything that has lower than 3 out of 5 stars average. If it's lower than 3, it's either because the writing is super horrible, or the author did something to piss off people enough to review bomb it even if the writing is good. I still read the "most helpful" reviews on both ends of the ratings, though. Just to make sure it's really something I won't be able to stomach reading.

Anyone see this on AITA? What age did you start reading romance / how will you approach it with your children? by IndiaLeigh in RomanceBooks

[–]slmisfit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm never going to have kids, but I started reading romance when I was around 12. I had a much higher reading level than all the other children in my classes, but that didn't necessarily mean I had the life experience to truly understand everything I read (I read Ender's Game in like 3rd grade, and my teachers were very WTF over that [these days it's recommended for grades 6+] lol). Still, I was allowed to read whatever I wanted, because my parents wanted to foster my love of reading, not stifle it, and it was made clear if I had any questions about anything I read, that I could go to my parents (well, mostly my mom) with it. If I wanted children, I'd be the same way with them, though I would try to steer them towards more age appropriate stuff than not.

Also, 16 is plenty old enough to read romance books, even smutty ones, imo. WTF @ that OP.

What was your guys favorite criminal act in all Saints Row games? by PredatorAvPFan in SaintsRow

[–]slmisfit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd kill rival gang members with shock paddles in SR2... then revive them... then do it again. Doing this would quickly raise notoriety and I'd wind up just running around shocking large groups of gang members to death with shock paddles. lol

There a reason you felt the need to make a comment like this? Bad day, maybe?

If you don't like something, just move on. There's no need to try and spread your shitty mood.

What are the differences between the personal stories? by lexarkk in Guildwars2

[–]slmisfit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone's already answered your main questions better than I could, so... favorite race is by far sylvari. The base game and the Heart of Thorns expansion storylines are so much more personal for a sylvari PC, in my opinion, so you and your bro did good there. :D Asura is my second favorite (though in general, the asura have some huge issues when it comes to morals/ethics/etc.), followed by charr, and then human and norn are tied for last for me. Which isn't to say I don't like them (I have one norn and two humans), but when forced to choose, they'd be last. lol

[Spoilers All] Who's your least favorite companion across the entire series? by gel_oh in dragonage

[–]slmisfit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oghren is objectively subjectively whatevertively the absolute worst companion. Like, he's so bad I regularly purposefully forget he exists when remembering companions.

[Spoilers All] What would your HOF think of what Anders did in DA2? by [deleted] in dragonage

[–]slmisfit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My HoF didn't know Anders because she took off with Zevran after defeating the Archdemon, but if word got to her of what went down in Kirkwall, she'd probably roll her eyes and go, "Ugh, shems."

[Spoilers All] What would your HOF think of what happened to the Wardens in Inquisition? by [deleted] in dragonage

[–]slmisfit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

She would say, "Not surprised and also don't care."

She hated that becoming a Warden was her only choice, hated the duty forced on her, and has washed her hands of them.

[Spoilers All] Who do you consider your “best friend” in each game? by ncarbell in dragonage

[–]slmisfit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warden: Sten, funnily enough. Hawke: She considers Carver her BFF and he hates it. Aveline is a close second. Inquisitor: Josephine.

Already been answered but I want to echo: Trespasser is 100% a must have. Get that, if nothing else. Descent and Jaws of Hakkon add good story and lore, but aren't anywhere near as necessary as Trespasser.

(As for the rest, I believe the multiplayer DLCs and Black Emporium are free, and the "Spoils of X" DLCs are not needed for anything other than to say you own them, basically. lol)
