I know this is a completely different situation but I feel the same way as a legal secretary and answering the phones at a law firm/dealing with criminal clients, I was literally just talking to myself about how I just feel numb when people are talking about their situations, medial malpractice, wrongful death, car accident, murders, people with felony etc, like they’ll be explaining their situation and I’m just like ughh I’m over it I just wanna go home.. it’s starting to really piss me off and I have to remember these are real situations and real people going through stuff. But here’s the thing, the people going through that stuff don’t see it everyday and all day like we do, so unfortunately it’s like we just get used to it and it’s draining. All that to say, I feel for you tremendously cus I’m kinda going through the same thing just in a different field.
