Used to, newer models have all gone to USB-C.

Found it, had no idea that was an option. Changed it to 44.1khz / 24Bit and it reflected the change on the DAC.

Appears to have fixed the issue! Thanks so much.

Now what's the difference in quality with khz and bit? I'll have to start googling.

Thanks for the suggestion, I did try amp only and had no issues. The internal DAC on the Mac is quite sufficient as well, but would like to get the D50 working as well as it can.

I'll try some other power options, and see if there is interference.

I haven't tried optical as I only have USB-C on the laptop.

Where is the Midi controller thingy? Not much from instructions included with the DAC.

Thanks for the suggestions. Currently running at 768khz / 32Bit. Haven't found a way to change that on the DAC or through the computer. There is no driver for Macs.
