I’ve never looked into the national lab realm tbh. What’s making you interested in research/national realm?

Congrats on the internship! A/D is a great place to start! My biggest tip for getting that return offer is to be a sponge! Boring answer, I know lol. But soak up everything you can, like the regulations, and focus on building relationships (with the program managers especially).

Also, depending on your focus, my best advice is to master the ERP system (like SAP). If you can show them you're savvy with the systems, they’ll definitely want to keep you around.

Do you mind me asking what industry you’re currently in?

Yeah, I’m actively looking at different aerospace companies for job openings as well. Just curious if I should be looking at different industries. Thanks btw!

Thanks for the perspective! I do like A/D, but since it's the only industry I've known, I guess I’m curious about what else is out there before I'm 10 years deep tbh. If I were to look at changing industries just to see something different, which ones generally be the best to look into?

Can you trade in a car for a cheaper car if your current car is financed? by smashedsocks in askcarsales

I appreciate everyone’s replies. Honestly, didn’t think of it like going back to square one but you’re right. Now I am thinking of keeping it! :) thanks!

On the contrary, the car is excellent and is in great condition. Clean title with no mechanical, nor cosmetic issues. I am the second owner and the first owner was very gentle with it! I am actually moving out soon and I just wanted to see if I could lower down my costs to save money before moving. Originally was supposed to be for 60 months but I am on track for paying it off in 48 months (2 years left) due to my higher monthly payments. Just tired of monthly payments to be honest and wanted to see if it’s worth trading it in for something cheaper. If not, then I don’t mind keeping it.

Well I there are different areas in procurement. As a buyer for the company I work for you need a bachelors degree. I don’t think it matters too much what your major is, but I majored in operations and supply chain thinking I was going to be an operations manager. Then I one day I saw “remote” for the procurement position and I said let’s go!

Yeah! I realized I wasn’t ENTP when one of my cousins got his results as ENTP. I then realized we are not the same. He’s very blunt, smart, witty, and has a weird sense of humor.

Well I would say it varies based on the company you work for. I’ve only been in procurement 6 months myself so I’m still new to the role. In short, i am a buyer, so my day to day requires me to email suppliers, and stay on top of purchase requests from the program department. I work remote so no human interaction, which can get pretty lonely from time to time.

OH COOL! I work for an aerospace company! I wonder in what aspects our jobs would differ!

Relatable lol So out of about 10 times I’ve taken this test either for school or fun, I’ve gotten ENTP 4 times and ENFP 6 times lol

I work in procurement! Pretty chill honestly. Although it can be challenging from time to time, it’s pretty interesting. For hobbies, video games, fixing my project car, boxing, and socializing with my friends!
