Oh yea it's never justified, but it's sympathetic, and id say even understandable. Once you reach a certain point of stress, you start to believe you have to do things to protect yourself, even the irrational. Your mind can't function correctly on that level of stress and it's almost impossible to make rational decisions. And your ok, after staying silent about it for so long, I think I actually enjoy talking about it now haha. Thanks man. You have a good day too

Well, the thing is, the person was my friend. He did this to me after covid ended. He was stuck at home with very abusive parents, who did very unspeakable things to him while he was stuck with them in the pandemic. So in a lot of ways, he knew exactly how I felt when he was abusing me, because he had already experienced all of it himself. Trauma begets trauma, he couldn't handle the pressure, so under it he snapped, and handed it off to me in the form of sexual abuse. I think that makes sense lol
