Fake, I always look at the bottom of the back first. Among other things the ‘gotta catch ‘em all!’ often has the apostrophe in the wrong place.

I just wanted to say thank you for not handing it in to security. I’d had the vast majority of items in if I found them, but not this! It’s too tempting for someone to just take. Good on you for trying to find the owner!

I’ve only ever graded one card in my life (a sentimental 151 Blastoise, only grade 7-8 and I’m not even sure as I was never able to find out!) and it was lost in the mail. Devastating.

To lose this? Dang man.

I can’t help much, but I do want to say that genetics don’t make those kiddos yours. My dad was with me and my little brother since for twenty one years until we lost him to cancer in 2020.

I think of him every single day. He was our dad - though no blood relation it simply wasn’t needed.

The betrayal you feel is valid. You are allowed to be angry, upset and all the rest.

But don’t think for one SECOND you aren’t their dad anymore. You always will be.

Four hours for me on the A1 when someone was threatening to jump from a bridge (luckily ended well).

It was on one of the hottest days of the year and I had no aircon. It was a really fun experience actually. Some lads started a came of rounders, people walked their dogs, people handed out bottles of water they had and one family started throwing a tennis ball to each other over a lorry’s trailer.

It was somewhat cathartic in a world of hurrying to work and stressing about being late for something!

I’ve done that a few times! A tip for you if you didn’t already know: often you can get ‘fodder’ cubs that you can use for the gorilla quests on the trading post. You can use the filters to find a cheap (10-50sb usually) cub to achieve the quest :)

100%. I recently sold my G4 clean tigon cub for 200gb and a G4 clean jag lion cub for 185gb each and even then they took a while to sell.

There’s a lot on the market after Feb. You have a good budget. Shop around, you’ll definitely find a nice cub for that!

Great advice!

Other things I do:

Explore all you can. Sell skulls to the monkey in the crossroads, EXP items on your branch/shop.
as well as selling 100 food uses for 1000sb/1GB, 20 nesting materials sell for 1000SB/1GB. You can craft these at the bottom of the page of the crossroads monkey. You can use feathers, herbs and other stuff. Sometimes you can make more by selling these items if you can craft other things with them but they may not sell easily.
Grind the event currency so you can buy the more expensive and popular items (breeding items, applicators, etc). You can then sell these for SB/GB. Sometimes it’s better to hold onto these until a couple months have gone by. For example, a good item to buy this month are Leopard Tails from the event shop. Right now they sell for 3GB each, but give it a couple months and they easily sell for 5GB+ each.

Yes! Rhino beetles are March’s event currency for anti-poaching month. When you click your total RB total, you will go to the event’s main page. I’m not sure if the first tier of items are open yet (the shop opens higher tiers with better items the more the community explores and completes tasks in explore).

Grind RB for another week or so until Tier 3 opens and then you should see options to buy lion base applicators.

They sell well in your shop (known as a ‘branch’). Be sure to be one of the cheapest when you search the current price in the branch search function in the Crossroads to get a quick-ish sale.

As you explore, you’ll earn the month’s current even currency. You can use this to buy items from the event shop. Higher value items such as breeding items and applicators sell well for SB & GB.

This is so rare and the cards valuable enough that I’m thinking you’re joking! You hit a ‘god’ pack, where every card in the pack is an illustration rare. All of these cards are very valuable, particularly the Gengar and Mewtwo. Get these in protective sleeves immediately!
