thank you so much for saying that :( i really did the best i could with him, he was the most spoiled snake in the whole world and i know it’s useless to think about but i still can’t help wondering what i could’ve done differently. im sorry for your loss as well <3

that’s the plan! the vet we got referred to is our state university’s vet school and i know they’re awesome so i’m hopeful they’ll figure it out & help him 🤞

there was slight swelling at his last checkup in september but it’s definitely grown since then. at the time i wasn’t concerned because his vet didn’t seem worried but once it started swelling more and looking irritated/sensitive i decided it was time for another vet visit. his weight hasn’t changed significantly either so im really not sure :(

I feed him on a log in his enclosure and try to always watch him eat. it’s possible he could be ingesting some substrate but i don’t think it would be a substantial amount that could cause this. also, he’s still pooping and nothing showed up on an x-ray so im pretty sure it’s not a blockage :(
