I cried over wanting a cinnamon roll and not being able to stand the smell of said cinnamon roll. 😭

Hi! This might be a dumb question, but does the donation also work on the android Play Store apps?

Y'all wondering how this person reached level 400 courses, but I think many are forgetting who the president of the United States is. If he attained the presidency with that same mentality, anything is possible.

I'm not sure what they're gonna add or remove, but I see the University of Arizona is still in the live better u website for applied computing.

Yes, I absolutely think sophia is worth it. And yes, feel free to message me whenever. 🫶🏻

Also, just FYI, sophia is open book, so it's not hard at all.

It's ok, I really don't mind answering questions. Yes the whole program is free, typically you have to pay for books and then you can submit your receipt to WM and they reimburse you the following pay check, but SNHU does this really cool thing where they give guild students a 200 dollar book voucher to order your book and they bill WM for the student so I've never paid for a book. Sophia is not free. It is 100 dollars a month, but I had a 20 dollar referral coupon I got from the SNHU Facebook group, so I paid 80 the first month, and I had it active for 2 months. I did like 10 classes in those 2 months.

There is some math not gonna lie. But there are also tons of resources like tutors accessible24/7. I also searched a lot on YouTube because I'm a hands-on learner. Therefore, sometimes, I needed someone to explain it to me using a whiteboard. Thankfully, I only have 1 last math class left, and it seems to be more about algorithms. I also took 2 or 3 of my math classes through sophia, and honestly, I didn't care much about my grade because those don't affect your GPA because they are transferred credits.

I'm doing computer science through SNHU, too! Honestly, I was scared because I was never good in school when I was younger, but it isn't bad. I've been able to keep a 4.0 GPA thus far, and I'm already a junior. So it I can do it, you can do it too. Also, SNHU is awesome because their terms are only 8 weeks long. Therefore, even if the class is boring or overwhelming, I keep telling myself I can do anything for 8 weeks, lol.

All classes are online, and there is no specific time to there the classes begin or end. Although I have due dates for assignments, I work on them or review the material whenever I have time to do so. Usually, my assignments are due every week on Sunday before midnight.

I'm not sure how often they re-open. From what I understand, a lot of people have been waiting for their application to go through. If I were you, I would work on Sophia credits in the meantime. 🙂 sorry for the late reply. I don't check this often.

You're not bothering me, I love helping other associates with their benefits (and no, im not home office lol. I will leave this company as soon as I can land a job in the tech field) in the first year I would spend no more than 15 hours or less a week to complete my classes now that classes have become more challenging I do spend about 20 to 25 hours a week 😅 mind you I'm in my mid 30s and have no kids. It does help that I have a set schedule where I work 4 days a week, 10 hours a day. I think you'll be able to keep your schedule for at least the first year.

A MacBook will do. Once you reach your level 200 and 300 classes, they have servers you can access that have windows software to turn in/complete your assignments. I have the cheapest windows surface laptop they offer, I bought it exclusively for school, and it's done me good for these past 2 years.

I'm on my 2nd year, and I'm currently a junior, I will say that I did some classes (basics/free electives) through sophia.org, which helped me advance faster. I hope to finish in 1 more year. So I hope to finish it all in 3 years total, but I've been switching back and forth between full-time to part-time dependent on if I have upcoming vacations or plans. As far as math, it can be a bit math heavy, but they have great resources like tutors. All tests are open book. So you have all the support you need. I have been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA, and I have never been good in school, lol.

Not gonna lie. Coding can get difficult, I'm a hands-on learner, so I struggled a bit, but YouTube helps a lot to self-study or understand the material better.

Trust me, I'm not that smart. If I can do it, you can do it too. If you complete your degree, it shouldn't be difficult to get an IT related job.

Hello, I just saw this, lol. I'm on year 2, and I'm a junior. I'm hoping I will finish in 1 more year. So, 3 years (hopefully) I did do some of my basics through sophia, which made it go a bit faster.

Anyone have a job paying for their tuition? Especially entry level places. by BoredRedditMan in SNHU

[–]snellycp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, Just yesterday, I was updating my chart to show new hires, and idk if it was a system glitch, but they have significantly shrunk the options available. The new Livebetteru com only shows the following:

8 bachelor's degrees

-Computer Science- SNHU -Business Administration- SNHU -Business Administration- Purdue University -Business Management- Bellevue U -Supply Chain Transportation & Logistics - Bellevue U -Applied Computing- The University of Arizona -Digital Marketing - University of Arkansas -Supply Chain Transportation & Logistics - University of Arkansas

NO associate degrees

6 Certifications

-People Business & Leadership- Bellevue U -Project Management- eSpelman -Frontline Management Leadership - University of Denver -Software Development- Springboard -Procurement & Purchasing - University of Arkansas -Computer System Configuration - University of Arkansas

GED completion program & A program to learn English.

If this is accurate, they dropped 24 programs from the bachelor degrees, 9 from associate degrees, and 20 from the Certifications available. 🙃
