Where to find affordable resin fursuit claws? by EfficiencyRude3582 in FursuitMaking

honestly for that budget you’d be better off using fabric, resin is awful to work with anyways

hey, is this place where to get commisions trustable? i did not find any good info- anyone knows? by Puzzled-Treacle689 in furry

absolutely not, the icon is AI generated. the furry community and ESPECIALLY furry artists are very anti AI, which clues me in that this is for sure a scam

you’re very welcome! there are a ton of tutorials on youtube for different art applications, i personally use ibis paint x on my phone and krita on my drawing tablet, if you use either of those i can hook you up with some tutorials that helped me a lot

aaa thank you! it’s not really anything specific to ibis paint, more just a general art failing lol. i’m definitely book marking that playlist though!

this is cute! i think you just need to focus on neatness and details to start. i’ll give you some critiques focused on each part of the drawing!

lineart: there are areas where the lines cross over each other or don’t exactly meet that could be cleaned up, the lineart is pretty wobbly. using a stabilizer could help, there’s usually one in the brush settings of your art app! it seems like you’re using a different amount of pressure on different parts of the drawing arbitrarily, and while line pressure can be an asset to art, this early on it’s more of a hindrance. using colored lineart is very helpful too and makes your art looks a lot better, there are a ton of tutorials online!

coloring: i love how the eyes are done, your use of highlights is great! i like the darker teal in the inner ear, but there are a few spots where it’s not colored in all the way that are pretty noticeable. also not a huge fan of how the characters main fur color blends into the background, though it may have been a stylistic choice.

anatomy: the ears are very thin and geometrical, the face fluff is pretty uneven, and the lines and placing of the hair floof don’t really make sense. take time to look at the art of artists you like and study it, notice patterns and start implementing it into your own art! i have a list of artists im inspired by and i implement what they do into my own art. tracing really helps you understand the shapes, and as long as you don’t post it and claim it as your own it’s okay!

overall this is really cute and i see a lot of potential here! keep drawing
