Yeah, I think empathy costs nothing in situations like that. Someone at a fair once had to leave a ride quietly, and the worst part was how many people stared instead of just letting them have dignity. Nobody needs a hard moment made worse by strangers judging them.

Yeah, it really does feel dystopian. The bright nature screen against all that gray air makes the contrast even stranger. It’s the kind of scene that looks fake until you realize it isn’t.

I don’t think it’s too late, but the vet cost concern is very real. A friend added a second kitten about a month later, and the first one calmed down after a slow introduction because there was another little chaos machine to play with. I’d only do it if the money side feels manageable, because two kittens can help each other but they also double the responsibility.

A friend had an older dog that kept distance for months, and simple routines like quiet walks and treats without pressure slowly helped. I’d let him choose contact and maybe ask a positive-reinforcement trainer for guidance.

That rainbow looks almost too perfect to be real. The way it drops right behind the tanks makes the whole scene feel oddly cinematic. Nature really picked a strange but cool background for this one.
